We decided to brave the rain and headed to the east coast town of Wick which looked interesting on a previous drive though
We found the interestingly named Wickers World cafe by the harbour which server us up pea and ham soup and scampi then wandered through the town past the oddly named restaurant called Bord de L’eau (“beside the water”, but say it quickly…) then returned along remarkably straight roads to the site
Ying rustled up a lovely fried rice out of nowhere as we huddled in the tent but noting we could see across the bay for the first time. Here’s hoping for tomorrow
