Another wet and windy day

We decided to brave the rain and headed to the east coast town of Wick which looked interesting on a previous drive though

We found the interestingly named Wickers World cafe by the harbour which server us up pea and ham soup and scampi then wandered through the town past the oddly named restaurant called Bord de L’eau (“beside the water”, but say it quickly…) then returned along remarkably straight roads to the site

Ying rustled up a lovely fried rice out of nowhere as we huddled in the tent but noting we could see across the bay for the first time. Here’s hoping for tomorrow
