Brora and Golspie

Today started grey and deteriorated into “Cornish mist”. We couldn’t see Ben Bhraggie let alone climb it!

A walk along the coast from Golspie’s “Award winning” beach left us wondering what the award was, but then joined the John O’Groats Walk to Dubrovnik (Dunrobin – spellchecker!!!) Castle was very pleasant amid the Sea Buckthorn bushes

Golspie (for us) was saved by a welcoming lunch at Poppy’s Cafe

Brora was a little less depressing, in the rain, with a walk down to the headland and view across the small estuary/river and harbour. We returned to the campsite and huddled in the tent extension watching the wagtails nod their way apparently obliviously to within 6-7 feet of us. Tomorrow looks to be the same/worse as we head further north (but then forecast improves…?)
